9/14/13 - Sept 7th 1996, Mike Tyson KO'd Bruce Seldon in the 1st round at the MGM Grand.  Shortly after, rapper Tupac Shakur was shot 4 times at Flamingo & Koval road in the passenger seat of his record label CEO Suge Knight; he died 6 days later at the age of 25 (@historynevada)

7/21/14 -  Vegas Vic's audio was restored after 20 years of silence in the 80s however his arm stopped waiving in 1991 and the speech hasn't worked since 2006
7/14/13 - 1966, Lee Marvin was filming the Professionals and staying at the Mint Hotel.  He complained that Vegas Vic was too loud, so casino execs turned off the speech and left it that way for almost 2 decades.
