1/8/12 - The iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” Sign was never copywrited which means the designer; Betty Willis hasn’t received a penny of royalties from the thousands of pieces of merchandise that use the image since it was installed in 1959. Betty considers her design a gift to the city of Las Vegas. (Pulse of Vegas)
